- ART1: The competition is open to athletes of eighteen years of age or over in possession of a medical certificate required by Italian law (D.M. 10.1.82). This certificate MUST be valid the day of the race and it must be EXHIBITED the day before in order to achieve the numbered bib.
- ART2: The Stava SkyRace's organiser prepares an alternative reserve course in the case of unfavourable weather conditions such as fog, snow etc. The competition can be cancelled in extreme cases (adverse weather conditions). In these cases the organiser WILL NOT refund participants.
- ART3: The Competition joins the FISKY (Federazione Italiana Skyrunning) calendar
- ART4: The competition follows the FISKY-FSA rules. Please keep in mind:
- Wind-stopper jacket with long sleeves (k-way) is OBLIGATORY. Checks on equipment are carried out at the beginning and at the end of the competition. In the event of missing or inadequate equipment there will be a time penalty of 3 minutes.
- The numbered bib must be clearly visible during all the race
- Competitors must follow the course markings on sight, go through all the checkpoints
- ART5: NOTICE A limit of 250 athletes is set for the race. The organization do not take any kind of responsibility if a participant injures himself or dies before, during or immediately after the race. Take part of the competition is your own risk so do not make the organiser responsible of your behaviour.
- ART6: Maximum Time and Gates
- The maximum time is 5 hours and 30 min. Two gates for time testing will be in place to verify the maximum time:
- Gate 1: Monte Cornon – closed after 1 hour and 45 min
- Gate 2: Monte Agnello – closed after 3 hours and 15 min.
- ART7: Environmental Issues
- It is required that of all waste material are discarded inside the designated areas.
- ART8: Retirement and Appeals
- Retirement must take place at a checkpoint providing the numbered bid
- Appeals must be submitted in writing and signed. A deposit of €50 may be required which will be refunded if the case is accepted. Complaints may not be made after half hour the finish of the last athlete.
